Into the Millennium:
Family Histories Come of Age
This year's conference in sunny California was a
remarkable success! It was an amazing opportunity for
networking, sharing information, and building relationships
with other personal historians in this new and expanding
field. Some of the members came home with literally boxes of
information!
Newcomers in the field of personal history had the
opportunity to see what others have done with their
businesses and what it will take to make their own ventures
successes. Established professionals gained tips on how to
better serve their clients and really get the word out on
why what we are doing is so important. And those in the
field of personal history who helped make it what it is
today came and shared their wealth of information during the
many sessions that were held.
