Conference Volunteers Needed

(You know who you are!) We’re delighted to know the list will grow.

What We Need...

APH could not pull off such a huge event without help from its skilled volunteers. But we have lots of fun and are just getting started! There’s no better way to get in on all the action. As you register, don’t forget to sign up for a volunteer position. You won’t regret it, and we’ll be so darn grateful. More specific details will be communicated to volunteers prior to the conference, but you may choose to help in one or more of the following four areas:

Registration & Conference Store

Joy Miller again will oversee on-site registration. She needs volunteers on Wednesday morning/early afternoon to collate and prepare registration materials and kits. During registration hours Wednesday afternoon/evening and early Thursday morning, we’ll again need help. Shifts ensure that all volunteers have time to attend the Welcome Reception and Thursday breakfast. Throughout the rest of the conference (especially at break or meal times and during Town Square), Joy will need willing volunteers. Please note your interest in volunteering on the registration form.

Greeters

Former conference attendees will welcome new APH members and those attending their first APH conference during the registration process on Wednesday. Greeters enjoy a wonderful opportunity to mix, mingle and get to know other APHers. Please sign up when registering or email Joy Miller, Conference Volunteer Coordinator.

Workshop Hosts

Workshop hosts will introduce presenters and help ensure that sessions run smoothly. Volunteer and you will be assigned to one of the workshops you plan to attend. Sign up when registering or email Paula Yost, Events Manager.

Workshop Recording Support

Under the guidance of Vikky Dauciunas, APH member and President of Vikkyd Productions, Inc., experienced volunteers are needed to ensure optimal recording of workshops and speakers. Sign up when registering or email Vikky Dauciunas, Recording Facilitator.
