2006 APH Conference
Hotel Information

APH Conference Hotel (Doubletree) and APH Supplementary Hotels (Holiday Inn, Marriott Courtyard)

Response to the 2006 APH Conference is far greater than anticipated. All reserved guest space at the special $99/night rate in the Doubletree Hotel, as well as in the Holiday Inn Portland-Downtown/Convention Center and Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Lloyd Center has been booked.

From time to time, however, there are cancellations, so it can't hurt to check just in case a room has become available. For all hotels, you must make your own reservations. The room prices are identical for the three hotels where APH has negotiated rates: $99/night plus 12.5% tax for either a single or a double. Be sure to ask for the Association of Personal Historians room block. All hotels have a deadline of September 2 to reserve a room at the $99/night price. And all hotels require 72 hour advance notice of cancellation or your first night's room and tax will be charged.

A list of other hotel options has been prepared for your use, if there is no lodging available at the three contracted hotels. The information has been gathered from an Internet search and organized by nearness to the Doubletree where the APH conference will be held. APH has no connection to any of these hotels, nor is inclusion in this list an implicit recommendation.
